Time-boxed technician access and metered billing for Starlink, more ways to get paid for Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi Voucher on Ubiquiti UniFi access points.

1. Temporary technician access and metered billing in StarController

Section titled “1. Temporary technician access and metered billing in StarController”

StarController now lets you grant a technician time-limited access to a dish — ideal for a field visit or a one-off support session — with every grant recorded on the dish’s Recent events timeline and access that cleanly ends the moment it’s revoked. Billing also moves to a metered model: StarController is charged on the dishes you’ve actually adopted, with no seat cap to manage. Behind the scenes, syncing is far more dependable for large fleets — accounts with more than ten dishes are no longer truncated, cookie refresh is quicker, and onboarding emails land reliably.

2. More ways to get paid in WiFi Monetization

Collecting payment for Wi-Fi access just got more flexible. Alongside Stripe and Pix, you can now take payments through Mercado Pago and Mercado Livre, and a payment gateway can be shared across companies with a secured webhook layer — so however your operation is structured, there’s a way to get paid.

Wi-Fi Voucher is no longer just for MikroTik. You can now run guest access and voucher-based Wi-Fi on Ubiquiti UniFi access points — link a UniFi site to your voucher setup and hand guests a captive portal served through UniFi, with support for both current and legacy UniFi controllers and the full UniFi AP engine. It brings the WiFi Monetization experience to a whole new class of hardware, so more of your network can pay its own way.
