June 2025
The month we opened mkcontroller beyond MikroTik — bringing Ubiquiti UniFi gear under the same roof and making it dramatically easier to onboard new devices.
1. Manage Ubiquiti UniFi devices alongside MikroTik
Section titled “1. Manage Ubiquiti UniFi devices alongside MikroTik”mkcontroller now supports Ubiquiti UniFi access points and gateways natively. You can adopt, view, rename, and monitor UniFi hardware from the same device list you already use for MikroTik, with your subscription and plan limits accounting for these devices automatically. One controller, both ecosystems.
2. Faster, smarter device adoption
Section titled “2. Faster, smarter device adoption”The adoption assistant got a major upgrade. New devices can now be brought online through NAT — no manual port-forwarding or network gymnastics required — and the wizard does a better job discovering and connecting to MikroTik and Ubiquiti hardware on your network. Getting a fleet under management is now quicker and far less fiddly.
3. Stay signed in
Section titled “3. Stay signed in”You no longer have to log in every time you return. mkcontroller now remembers your session and takes you straight to your devices, while quietly clearing things out if your access has expired.
