Configurar Vouchers de Hotspot MikroTik

Summary Setting up MikroTik voucher-based Wi-Fi in MKController takes two steps: configure a hotspot linked to a MikroTik device, then generate a voucher batch with your chosen rules. This guide covers the complete process — from hotspot creation and IP pool configuration through voucher batch generation and printing. It includes the critical note for multi-AP environments using bridge mode.

What Is MikroTik Voucher Wi-Fi in MKController?

MikroTik Voucher Wi-Fi in MKController is a cloud-managed hotspot system that lets operators create, distribute, and track prepaid Wi-Fi access codes for MikroTik RouterOS hotspots. Instead of configuring the hotspot manually in RouterOS, MKController handles setup through a guided interface and stores all voucher data centrally — giving operators real-time visibility into usage and revenue.

MKController vouchers support single-device and multi-device simultaneous use, custom session durations, configurable data limits, and PDF printing for physical distribution. The captive portal login page is fully customizable with your logo, welcome message, and terms of use.

For ISPs and WISPs, the voucher system turns a standard MikroTik CPE into a revenue-generating hotspot with no additional hardware. For venue operators (hotels, cafés, coworking spaces, public parks, schools), it replaces manual password sharing with scalable, trackable prepaid access codes.

Step 1: Configure the Hotspot on MKController

Step 1.1: Create the Hotspot

  1. Log in to app.mkcontroller.com and open the Voucher WiFi section in the main menu.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the MKController voucher system?
The MKController voucher system is a hotspot access management module built on top of MikroTik’s HotSpot service. It lets you create prepaid access codes with defined speeds, time limits, and prices, and manage them centrally from the MKController cloud dashboard.

Can I customize the Wi-Fi login page for vouchers?
Yes. MKController includes a portal builder where you can set your own logo, colors, and layout for the hotspot login page. Customers see your branding instead of a generic page.

How do I track voucher revenue in MKController?
Open the Voucher Dashboard inside a voucher configuration. It shows revenue by device, by batch, and by time range. You can filter by specific resellers or locations using the Batch and Device filters.

Can I sell vouchers through resellers?
Yes. Create a voucher batch, assign it to a reseller, and they can distribute the codes independently. The Voucher Dashboard lets you track performance per batch so you can see exactly how each reseller or location is converting.

Do vouchers work with multiple access points?
Yes, as long as additional access points are configured as bridges (not as independent routers) on the same MikroTik network. A single voucher then works across all antennas connected to that MikroTik.
