Starlink Terminal Details: Usage, Uptime & Plan

Summary Open any terminal from the dashboard (View more) to get its full picture in one place: live usage and specs, custom attributes, team observations, the subscription and invoice history, and a monthly data-usage graph. The header carries the device’s primary actions — Remote access and Actions (Update, Reboot, Forget Device).

Get here by clicking View more on any device row in the Fleet Dashboard. The terminal opens with its name, online status, and the action buttons in the header.

General Information

StarController terminal detail: internet usage donut, connected devices, attributes, plan, map and location, and hardware specs

The default tab is the cockpit for one antenna:

  • Internet usage — data used this month against the plan’s allowance, as a percentage.
  • Connected devices — when Starlink reports it.
  • Attributes — how many custom attributes are registered (see below).
  • Plan — the Starlink plan and its monthly cost.
  • Map and Location — country, city, and street for the site.
  • Observations — how many notes the team has added.
  • Hardware — Starlink ID, serial number, software version, kit number, last update, and uptime.

Attributes

The Attributes tab lets you attach custom key–value fields to a terminal — asset ID, contract number, install date, anything you’d otherwise keep in a spreadsheet. They become part of the terminal’s record and the count surfaces on General Information.

Observations

The Observations tab is a running log of notes on the terminal — each shows who wrote it and when. Use it for field history: “repositioned dish”, “swapped router”, “customer reported rain fade”.

Subscription

StarController terminal subscription tab: debt balance, available credits, payment method, next due date, and invoice history

Everything billing for this one terminal:

  • Debt balance, Available credits, Payment method, and Next due date.
  • Invoice history — each invoice with its status (paid / pending), dates, amount, balance, and a Download action.

For the fleet-wide view of the same data, see Finance & invoices.

Data Usage

StarController terminal data-usage tab: current-month total and a daily usage graph for the billing period

The Data Usage tab shows the terminal’s current-month total and a graph of daily usage across the billing period.

Header actions

  • Remote access — open a temporary Starlink session to reach this terminal in the field. See Remote & temporary access.
  • ActionsUpdate, Reboot, and Forget Device.
